Doug came to JDL in 2008 with extensive expertise in charitable gifting, financial advising and investment planning. Prior to joining JDL, Doug served as Vice President of the Foundation for Christian Stewardship, an affiliate of the National Christian Foundation. Formerly, he advanced his clients’ financial objectives as an investment advisor with Charles Schwab & Company. He holds a B.A. in Organizational Communication from Arizona State University, and a M.A. in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary. He has achieved the Certified Financial Planner, Certified Specialist in Planned Giving, and Chartered Financial Consultant professional designations. He also serves on the leadership team of Kingdom Advisors and is a member of the Orange County Planned Giving Roundtable.
Doug resides with his wife, Amy, and four children in Ladera Ranch. He and his family are active members of their church.
